Freda Hu
Freda Hu is a first-generation Chinese American actor and filmmaker from Chicago. Originally pursuing a career in chemistry, her longtime dream of acting eventually led her to the arts. You can see her in Brat TV’s Chicken Girls: College Years and numerous indie projects, including one opposite Eric Roberts and another produced by CAPE and Janet Yang. She recently wrote, produced, and acted in a dark comedy short, Desperate Measures, which will be premiering at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema in March 2026. Yoki’s Body is her stage debut.
