Danny McDermott

Danny McDermott lived in NYC where he studied at UCB, acted in and produced plays, sketch and stand-up comedy and became one of the biggest producers of stand-up outside the comedy clubs over 8 years. During his time in NYC Danny appeared in numerous plays and was cast as the lead in six productions. He did a one man show comprised of 11 different characters in full costume, guest hosted The View with Jon Stossel (from 20/20) and has been a recurring character in two cartoon series titled “Casper Scare School” and “Angelo Rules”.

 

In 2013 Danny moved to LA where he produced a comedy series “Who Killed the Bible Salesman” that premiered at the Hollywood Improv, all while continuing his comedy at small venues and clubs.   

 

As a writer Danny has written several feature films, multiple short films and over 40 web series episodes. He has had a few options on his scripts, and a table read with Christopher Titus, Judd Nelson, and Casper Van Dien.
