Melissa was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Never moved, never wants to. She had
early success as a voice over actress. Her credits include “Bad Santa”, "Freddy vs.
Jason", “Mulan 2”, “Spy Kids 2”, and “Yours, Mine, & Ours”. Melissa studied theatre in
high school and college. Her favorite roles were “Adelaide” in “Guys and Dolls”, and
“Suzanne” in “Picasso At The Lapin Agile”. This gave the opportunity to dance, sing,
and act. Her training also includes the core program at Groundlings. As a graduate
and now the newest teacher at “Ruskin School of Acting”, you can find her either in the
classroom, or on stage performing, or backstage directing, at the well loved one-day-
production, known as “Cafe Plays”. This is Melissa’s first performance at "The Victory
Theatre Center” and is excited to join the “Short and Sweet” family.
