Lizza Monet Morales, aka @xoxolizza, is an award winning actor, tv host and content creator in both English and Spanish. 

 

As an actor, she was most recently seen as a lead in the award-winning social impact film “Intolerance No More” written and directed by Emmy award winner Sergio Guerrero. Some of her other credits include, David Mamet’s “Phil Spector” biopic for HBO starring Al Pacino and Helen Mirren and as a series regular on VH1’s highest rated show “New York Goes To Hollywood.”

Lizza is also a best-selling author and an international motivational speaker. In 2020, she was one of the executive producers for two livestream events which garnered national and international attention- Altísimo LIVE!, which raised over 1.7 million dollars for the farmworkers of the United States and Puerto Rico and the #IAmVanessaGuillen – The Project livestream, which was dedicated to celebrating the memory, while advocating for Vanessa Guillen and those in her shoes. The livestream featured members of Vanessa’s family, friends, her lawyer, in addition to several other military sexual assault survivors and elected officials. In addition, she’s an executive producer, co-creator and co-host of the digital live show "Conciencia Talk" in partnership with the mitu network, which is all about holding space for brave conversations with top Latino artists and tastemakers in solidarity of Black Lives Matter and the issues impacting Black and Brown communities. Billboard Magazine named it a 2020 Agent of Change Movement. 

In 2016, she won the TECLA Award for Best Live Broadcaster, which was the first award ever given to a live streamer by any award show. She went on to win it again in 2017. She was named one of the “20 Most Influential Latinos and Latinas of 2016” by Alegeria magazine, Twitter named her one of their “sheinspires” women around the world and has been previously nominated for a Shorty Award.

 

In the spring of 2016, Ms. Morales was invited by FLOTUS Michelle Obama to attend The United States Of Women Summit as one of the country’s “agents of change.” And that fall she was invited by President Barrack Obama to attend the invite only South By South Lawn (SWXSL) at The White House. During the 2016’s election cycle, she served as a judge for VotoLatino and FUSE Media’s Crash The Parties competition, alongside Emmy award winning host Rachel Maddow and NPR’s Maria Hinojosa.

 

On the fashion front, IMG, which produces the most impactful Fashion Week events around the globe, named Lizza one of their “Global Committee Experts” for their 2015-2016 DHL Exported fashion designer competition. She was one of six experts picked, which included acclaimed designer Nicole Miller and Vogue Italy’s Sara Maino. 

Ford Automotive named her one of the “Mujer Legandarias” (Legendary Women) in the United States. Additionally, the Lincoln Motor Company selected her as of their ten “Damas de Lincoln” for a campaign profiling exceptional Latina leaders in 2015. That same year, Lizza was selected as one of the “Top Eight Latino Influencers in the US” by the American Latino Heritage Fund.

She’s been on-air talent for Access Hollywood, Telemundo, EXTRA, Univision, Celebrity Justice, The Insider and The TV-Guide Channel amongst others and has reported for US Weekly and People Magazine.

Lizza’s clients include, but are not limited to the GRAMMYs, Microsoft, Nike, Ford, Lenovo, Red Bull, Nielsen, Walmart and CoverGirl. She has been featured on The Conan O’Brien Show, CNN, NPR and the OMG Hi with George Lopez podcast. In print, she’s been in AdWeek, Vanity Fair, TIME, Los Angeles Times, People En Español, in a full-page feature in Cosmo for Latinas and the cover of ALEGRIA magazine with a corresponding two-page spread inside.
