Azuay Esteban is a passionate actress and mother who believes deeply in the transformative power of storytelling. Based in Los Angeles, she has dedicated herself to the craft of theater, delivering performances that not only entertain but also inspire and forge meaningful connections with her audience.
Azuay’s journey in Los Angeles theater has been marked by a series of memorable roles. She performed “Valentina y la sombra del diablo”, and La Hermana in “Todas Somos Luz”. She took on the role of Tezcatlipoca in “Mictlán” at the Fringe Festival Hollywood in 2024, directed by Martín Arreola, lShe was part of “Los Empeños de la Casa” at the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts in 2023, as well as her dual roles as La tia in “Too Many Tamales” with the same organization between 2019 and 2022.
Azuay’s artistic foundation is rooted in her formal training. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Theatre Acting from the prestigious National School of Dramatic Arts INBA in Mexico City. Fluent in both Spanish and English, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her work, allowing her to connecting with a wide range of audiences.
