Karla Ojeda

Karla is thrilled to be part of Short & Sweet Hollywood. A Los Angeles-born actor and director, she recently directed plays for the “Fernandomania” production at Casa 0101. Karla also appeared in “L.A. Chapters” at the Morgan Wixson Theater and “Soul Sacrifice” at the Frida Kahlo Theater. Earlier this year, she directed a piece for “Mujeres on the Verge” at Casa 0101. Last year, she portrayed Gloria Molina in the world premiere of “A Woman Named Gloria.” Her other theater credits include playing Frida Kahlo in “El Verde” and starring in the award-winning “Santa Doesn’t Live Here Anymore” at The Brisk Festival.

 

In addition to her theater work, Karla has produced several films, including the Imagen Award-winning series “The Misadventures of Cholo Chaplin.” Her latest film, “Marigold the Matador,” is available on Amazon Prime and Tubi. Follow her for updates on upcoming projects at @vamonos74.
