Lizette Santiago, a dynamic actress originally from New York City. Spanish Harlem in Manhattan, NYC to be exact and made her mark on the stage and screen with her extreme versatility. Lizette was enrolled in the Weist Barron Acting School at just three years old, which blossomed her early passion for acting. She later then competed and modeled in beauty pageants like “Little Miss New Jersey” and “Miss Junior America.” She also did numerous commercials and print work.
Her career path brought her to Los Angeles when casting director Vicki Rosenberg from 20th Century Fox discovered her during an audition for “Judging Amy,” prompting her move to Los Angeles launching her Hollywood journey. Lizette gained acclaimed recognition for her roles in many productions such as “Staten Island,” “The Ol’ Timey Spectral Hour," “La Wija,” “107th Street,” “Cafe Spanglish,” “A Haunting” and many others highlighting her talents in both drama and comedy. She is also a nominated and award winning and actress!
In addition to television and film, Lizette has appeared in numerous stage productions, which includes National, Regional, and Off Broadway Theatre productions. “ Damn Yankees” at the Paul Robeson Theatre and “Don Quixote: Man of LA Mancha” which toured Nationally with The National Theatre of Performing Arts. Her most recent stage performance was an Original Musical Theatre production performed at the Black Box Theatre in Santa Monica of “Where the Wild Things Are: The Musical!” Lizette continuously challenges herself and has even expanded her acting career into Voice Over Acting and has voiced many projects like “The Barefoot Spirit Audiobook” from the creators of The Barefoot Wine and “The Brain Savers” an award winning Business Audiobook. She has also booked the voice of the female Zoltar in an upcoming project soon. She was even a former National Car Show Host and Model. She still currently gets booked for On-Camera Hosting and Live Events. Her dedication and talents have earned her respect in the entertainment industry and she never takes it for granted.
Lizette would like to dedicate her performance in “There’s A Zombie In The Garden, Frank!” performed at the Short+Sweet 2024 Festival to her deceased brother Isaac Adams Martinez whom recently died of Lymphoma Cancer. He is the reason she still holds her head up high as she continues her acting journey!
