Laura Vega (Writer/Producer/Maria) a SAG/AFTRA member since 1987. She is an immigrant from Mexico. Her stories come from her life whilst changing the narrative to connect to the macro and to soften life’s blows. She was awarded best play and best actress in the Short and Sweet Hollywood’24’s Latinx for "La Cita. She has written several 10 minute plays for the Frida Kahlo Theater’s 10-minute play festival and the Short and Sweet Hollywood. Her plays include, La Cita, Lockdown, Familix, The Secret, That’s What it’s All About and Borracha. Ms. Vega wrote the short film ‘56 Lincoln, and co-wrote the full length films, Love Sanchez and Norte. Ms. Vega’s short story My Red Toolbox is set to be published by Pen & Purpose Publishing.
