Narmar Hanna

Narmar Hanna is an Egyptian American writer/director living in Los Angeles from Miami, Fl. She graduated from F.I.U and studied acting and writing as well as studying theatre abroad in Oxford, England.

Her most recent original produced work is the micro-comedy series ‘The Luxury Rental’. She wrote, directed, and starred in all six episodes and it’s currently a hit on the festival circuit.  The Luxury Rental won Best Web Series at several film festivals including, the Hollywood Fl Film Festival, The Studio City film festival, Oniros Film Awards, Web Series Festival Global, Best Micro-Episode at Austin Comedy short film festival and Portland Comedy Festival.

Her most recent acting work includes an episode of the Paramount + series,  “Lioness”, and she can be (heard) as the voice of Akila Nuru in the Amazon video game “New World”.

Look out for her newest original project, ‘The Association’. A comedy short/pilot which won Best Short Screenplay at The Seattle Film Festival. It’s also placed in top 3 at L.A Shorts, and was a second rounder at the Austin Film Festival Screenplay competition in 2023.

In her spare time, she’s a competitive amateur ballroom dancer.
