Hadrian Shawn Míguel (he, him, él, elle, ig@theartrageous1) is a published poet, writer & playwright. He’s also an artist & designer trained at Otis Parsons & LA Trade Tech, and in 2023 added filmmaker to his portfolio with Final Cut & Boylesque.
At Short+Sweet Hollywood 2024, Hadrian has four plays he’s written: The Love & Haight Street Chronicles, Vedettes, Meet Me At The Bodega and El Homiesexual (El Homie).
His play The Marías made it to the Semi-Finals & Finals in 2022 for the Audience Award and his works have been shortlisted previously at Short+Sweet Dubai & Short+Sweet Sydney.
Hadrian is excited to be back again and as always to shine a bright klieg light on the LGBTQIA+ & QTBIPOC stories and advocate for women’s body autonomy & reproductive rights.
