Welcome to a world turned upside down, where queer people make up 90% of the population and the Queerburg family seems picture-perfect: Daddy Queerburg is fabulously gay, Momma Queerburg is proudly lesbian, and their teenage son Sonny has been raised with all the ballet, opera, and pride parades any loving queer parents could provide. 

But when Sonny gathers his parents for a serious family meeting, the secret he’s been hiding threatens to shatter their happy home and become the scandal of the neighborhood. 

Through brilliantly absurd comedy, “The Queerburgs” flips traditional family dynamics on their head, reimagining what unconditional love looks like when tested in unexpected ways. 

This sharp, hilarious satire uses over-the-top humor to expose the ridiculousness of prejudice while celebrating the universal struggle of parents learning to accept their children—even when those children don’t turn out quite as expected.
